Hello people,
I have my exam in 6 days time on October 1st.My prep started a couple of months back and since then ive used the following books for study:
The official guide 11th ed
The official guide verbal and quant books( finished all the problems of both quant and verbal in the 11th edition as well as the verbal guide. The quant guide ive done only 100 or so of the 200 something thats there)
The manhattan Sentence correction, number properties and reading comprehension guides
The powerscore bible for critical reasoning(excellent is an understatement)
So far ive taken 6 tests:
Gmatprep 1 : 380 (without any preparation,to check where i stand,took it 2 months back)
MGMAT 1 : 600
MGMAT 2: 580
MGMAT 3: 630
MGMAT 4: 640 (q 43, v 34 )
MGMAT 5: 670 (q 43, v 38 )
GMATprep 1(again but latest version): 640.( q 48, v 28 )

I took MGMAT 1 TO MGMAT 4 every 8-9 days.
I took MGMAT 5 and gmatprep 1 with a two day gap in between
I must say i was really really disappointed to get a 640 today.Quant shot up but verbal came down by 8 points.really frustrating after putting in so many hours these last few days.I even practised an LSAT paper for improving my RC skills and CR skills.I was expecting a 720 something score today.BIG disappointment.I guess i have no option apart from just working on my mistakes . Plan on taking gmatprep2 on tuesday or wednesday.

Apart from all these sources, i downloaded the MGMAT flashcards and the BTG flashcards also.
Lets see what happens on d-day.Aiming for a 720-740 score. Im still a college senior and am planning to apply for R2 in jan to all colleges.
I really really hope i touch the magic 700 hundred figure.
Will keep you all updated.
I would really love any suggestions .

You're within the 7-day period, so I would say not to worry about the discrepancy. Review the materials and relax.
Yep.

Thanks for replying.I just finished reviewing my test and guess what???I could answer ALMOST all of them without even checking the correct answer.I remember not guessing blindly also.Any idea why this is hapenning? And what suggestions can you give me to counter this knack of "careless mistakes" ?
