Scratch Paper on Official test

by Dan@VinciaPrep » Tue Jun 08, 2010 1:20 am
So I posted this question a little while ago and I don't think I got a response so I thought that I might try my luck again. Does anyone know what color the scratch paper is on the official test (outside of France)- is it white or is it yellow? Also, are the square really small or are they about an 1/2 inch by 1/2 an inch?

I'm just curious
Thanks

I took my test in India. The scratch paper was white in color. I'm not too sure of the size of the squares in the scratch paper as it is too irrelevant to notice on such a big day. But i guess it must be around 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch.

Yeah, mine was white too- I'm just wondering why Manhattan and Veritas practice scratch paper is yellow

Nice catch! I haven't tried those scratch papers.

But yes, if they are trying to mimic actual GMAT's scratch booklet, then they must do it perfectly. Color of the booklet does come into play.

I took mine in the UK last week and it was white too.

I had taken the Veritas course and the squares on the day were bigger than the Veritas supplied scratch paper.

My pens kept on drying out though, that was more of a pain than the paper!
