score fluctuation

by swapna » Mon Apr 26, 2010 11:17 am
I have been working on MGMAT material...I am lookin for somethin within 600-650 in the real GMAT. Last week i took a test
and the score was

quant 43 and verbal 20( I bombed a verbal section in this)
I took a test few days later and I see that the score is

verbal 33 and quant 28.(In this verbal section I hardly had 2 or 3 500-600 level questions...and it was throwin only 600-700 and above level questions)

I believe the scores pretty much indicate that my concepts are ok, but I feel I am missing out on some thing small..And because of one section, my score gets pulled down badly. Can some one help figure out where I am going wrong..and if this happened to some one earlier, can you please suggest what measures you took to fix this??
