again yesterday and got 530

I have 5+ yrs of experience in a top IT firm
do i have a chance of getting into ISB,GL or any good B-school

I am desperate to do MBA this year...
I read in many forums that there is no minimum GMAT score..

It really does depend on your level of experience too . . . 5+ years at a top IT firm is great, but it does matter whether you are the CEO or the guy who cleans out the paper shredder. A 530 is not very competitive, but if you are the CEO of a top IT firm it won't matter.

But the universities post the median score as 600/650/690, and the students experience range from 2-4 yrs mostly.
With 5+ yrs experience will there be not a consideration for low GMAT score ?

Frankly speaking 'no'. I have 8+ yrs of exp and got 570 in first attempt and 530 in second attempt. For US universities they consider GMAT score more than your exp.

Consider a case that another guy who has entire application same as yours and has GMAT score around 650. Whom will school select and why?

I questioned the same thing to me and started preparing 3rd time. :(
