Friends, I need a bit help to structure my scholarship Essay

Topic of the Essay - The Internet was supposed to be the era of 'Global Village'. Yet some say cultures are fragmenting even further as the consequence of social networks. Which school of thought would you agree with? Title: Global Village or Global Puzzle?

Interesting Topic!!!

Here is my ViewPoint -
Fragmentation of Social Networks does mean culture mix. Due to social networking sites, peoples from diverse background, diverse culture and diverse country can socialize with each other. Social Networking sites are breaking the barriers. I cant call it Global Puzzle. For me, its the same as Global Village model where peoples from global end are meeting with each other virtually and getting accustomed with each other.

I would like to hear some more viewpoints from you guys..

If I had to approach this essay, I would definitely balance my essay more in direction of denial of the above statement(70-30).

So I will affirm the statement by saying that yes it has fragmented more and more, and then make these statements look dissuading with help of examples.

Method of the Communications divides people because of so many clear but dependent factors. Some age groups prefer a particular mode which holds and strengthens a part of the community. The say and strength of this part can determine the overall cohesiveness to other communities. This means, there are strands of one community linked to other communities through common interests and questions. Technology helps them emote, grow, socialize and then talk about all this to share the information with other communities.

Media enhances connections and more modes : The media has been greatly affected by technological advances.
