What will be the correct answer to this question and also please explain the reason.

It was decided by us that the emphasis would be placed on the results that might be attained.

a) We decided that the emphasis would be placed on the results that might be attained.

b) We decided to emphasize the results that might be attained.

c) We decided to emphasize the results we might attain.

It was decided by us that the emphasis would be placed on the results that might be attained.

a) We decided that the emphasis would be placed on the results that might be attained.-correct

b) We decided to emphasize the results that might be attained.- changes the meaning of the sentence. The original sentence does not specify who will emphasize the results.

c) We decided to emphasize the results we might attain. -changes the meaning completely. It is not implied in the original sentence that the results will be attained by us.
