C IMO.
The issue with original sentence is that "it" modifies metal center. So A is not correct.
B also has the same issue.
C clearly says that it is the discus which is getting changed now, so this is correct.
In D also, metal center is getting modified by the last part of the sentence.
E --> Having sounds awkward.
