Option A.
'will have published hundreds of poems ,plus novels short stories, autobiographies, librettos, essays and children books.'
Option B
'is publishing hundreds of poems ,plus novels short stories, autobiographies, librettos, essays and children books.'
Option C
'would have published hundreds of poems ,plus novels short stories, autobiographies, librettos, essays and children books'.
Option D
'will publish hundreds of poems ,plus novels short stories, autobiographies, librettos, essays and children books.'
Option E
'would publish hundreds of poems ,plus novels short stories, autobiographies, librettos, essays and children books.'

Option E is the correct answer because of the use of 'would'
according to the Oxford English dictionary 'would' is use to describe an action in the past that happened.'would' also mean used to
all other options were referring to present tense and that does not explain the 'over his 65-year life span'
All other options are Incorrect. While Option E is correct
