The OA is D.


What is the funda for the option C, apart from parallelism, Is anything else being tested???
eg: Option C is not parallel is right, but is there something wrong in the usage of 'instead'???

Just wanted to clarify...

There is a slight difference in the use of Rather than and Instead of.
Rather than is used for Verbs and Instead of is used for Nouns.

Here, D is correct because it uses Rather than with the verb accept.

The use of IF is incorrect here.
IF is correct for more than two options (if she should get ball, television,or a video game).
In this sentence we need just a yes or no answer hence use Whether.
