Hi Guys,

Can someone help me with this sentence correction question? I have marked it as B but the answer is C.

In Newtonian laws of motion, <there is a condition and it's converse regarding bodies at rest and bodies in motion>.

A) there is a condition and it's converse regarding bodies at rest and bodies in motion

B) there is a condition and its converse regarding bodies at rest and bodies in motion

C) there are a condition and its converse regarding bodies at rest and bodies in motion

D) there are a condition and it's converse regarding bodies at rest and bodies in motion

E) there has been a condition and its converse regarding bodies at rest and bodies in motion

C talks about there "ARE" "A" condtion. Are and A don't go together :?:

Thanks for the reply !! I have another question where I am finding the problem. Help me with this too,

1. Judge Bonham denied a motion to allow members of the jury to go home at the end of each day instead of to confine them to a hotel.
(A) to allow members of the jury to go home at the end of each day instead of to confine them to
(B) that would have allowed members of the jury to go home at the end of each day instead of confined to
(C) under which members of the jury are allowed to go home at the end of each day instead of confining them in
(D) that would allow members of the jury to go home at the end of each day rather than confinement in
(E) to allow members of the jury to go home at the end of each day rather than be confined to

I marked A as the answer but OG10 says E as the answer. I could not make much sense out of the explanation.
