A and B do not create a complete sentence because we never get a verb to go with the subject (C. sanctus). The subject is followed by two modifying phrases.

C has a pronoun agreement issue ("its" and "them"). E has this problem as well.

D works. Pronouns agree, and we have a verb ("had") to go with the subject.

Hey!
I have a very silly doubt!
"I had my lunch". This sentence is simple past, right?
I have one more doubt, why is the name of the bird put inside 2 commas?... I think only one comma should be used i.e before the name of the bird.

Yup, "had" in that sentence would be the simple past of "to have".

I think you need 2 commas here. One to mark off the opening modifier and one to mark off the modifier that follows the name.
