I can get it down to (D) or (E), but anyone know what makes (E) incorrect?

E wrong --> Incorrect modifier. All the persons modifying grandmother.

Between C and D --> D as "Person" in C is redundant.

D is the best choice as it removes redundancy i.e person. no need of repitition
Philosophers have interpreted world in various ways, the point is to change it!
