The proper idiom is "different from" so d and e can be eliminated.ramsingh wrote:Because fish look through water, their eyes are very different [from a mammal].
a. from a mammal
b. from a mammal's
c. from that of a mammal
d than that of a mammal
e than is a mammal's
Correct Answer-b
Why c,d,e are incorrect?
a) Not parallel - compares fish eyes and a mammal.
b) Correct. Parallel - compares fish eyes with mammal's [eyes]
c) "That" is singular and the plural form "those" is needed.
