We who graduated from high school in the United States in the late 60's were caught in the middle of the Vietnam War.

A) We who graduated from high school in the United States in the late 60's were

B) We, who graduated from high school in the United States in the late 60's, was

C) We who then graduated high school in the United States in the late 60's were

D) Those of us who then graduated from high school in the United States in the late 60's were

E) We high school graduates who were in the United States in the late 60's were

B out due to subject-verb agreement error. C and D out to the use of "then" which is awkward.

E apparently nothing wrong but changes the meaning: we had already graduated before but remained in the US in the late 60s were caught in the war

A means: we graduated in the late 60s in US were caught in the war.

would go for A and stick to the original meaning

A
B - uses a modifying clause unnecessarily, and makes a verb error in "were"
C - is ungrammatical and strange in using "then"
D - makes the same error as in C
E - wordy, and slightly changes the meaning of the original sentence by saying "...who were in the..."

A is the correct answer.
