For the farmer who takes care to keep them cool, providing them with high-energy feed, and milking them regularly, Holstein cows are producing an average of 2,275 gallons of milk each per year

1. providing them with high-energy feed, and milking them regularly, Holstein cows are producing
2. providing them with high-energy feed, and milked regularly, the Holstein cow produces
3. provided with high-energy feed, and milking them regularly, Holstein cows are producing
4. provided with high-energy feed, and milked regularly, the Holstein cow produces
5. provided with high-energy feed, and milked regularly, Holstein cows will produce

I am confused between 4 and 5. Original sentence shows present continuous tense 'are producing'
in option 5 it has been changed to 'will produce' i.e future tense. why 'produces is wrong'.
Is the usage of article 'the' in front of Holstein is right in option 4?
Please help

As you have written
'in B and D, them (plural) does not agree with the Holstein cow (singular). Eliminate B and D.'

D says ' provided with high-energy feed, and milked regularly, the Holstein cow produces '

But 'them' is not used in option D.

also can tell me that how the the change of tense is justified in case of E?

The non-underlined portion -- which applies to all of the answer choices -- includes them (plural).
In B and D, the Holstein cow (singular) does not agree with them (in the non-underlined portion).

In my 3rd post here -- https://www.beatthegmat.com/holstein-cows-t152122.html -- I explain the justification for the future tense in E.
When you analyze the tense in E, ask yourself the following:
Does the future tense in E constitute a clear error?
Since the future tense in E does NOT constitute a clear error -- and each of the other answer choices DOES have a clear error -- eliminate the other answer choices and choose E.
