When "Each" follows "Plural subject", verb must be plural

If the sentence begins with "Each", verb must be singular

I do not like this question. It confuses me. When you use "if" towards the end of the sentence, you are not suppsed to use comma after first clause to the best of my knowledge. Please correct me whether I am wrong.

Why answer is E.....

the subject of the sentence is "three major networks" and "broadcast" corresponds.

For your reference,
Manhattangmat SC book Chapter 2 (p.31)

"each" requires a singular verb form.
ex) Each of these shirts IS pretty. (subject is "each")
ex) Each dog and cat HAS paws. (subject is "each")

Why?
becuase the subject is preceded by "each", it is considered singular and therefore requires a singular verb form.

NOTE: however, when "each" and "every" follows a subject, it has no bearing on the verb form.

Ex) They each ARE great tennis players.

Here, the plural subject "they" require the plural verb form "are"
