Is root5 of a^7 = a(root5 of a^2)
I would say so.

5throot(128) = 5throot(2^5 * 2^2) = 2 * 5throot(4)



Properties:

nthroot(xy) = nthroot(x) * nthroot(y)

nthroot(x/y) = nthroot(x) / nthroot(y)


In exaple above x = 2^5 y=2^2

Yeah, you're correct.
root5 of a^7=a^(7/5)
and a(root5 of a^2)= a*a^(2/5), Since we're multiplying to numbers with the same bases, we add exponents. So, a*a^2/5=a^(1+2/5)=a^7/5.
