Right time to appear for GMAT

Hello,

I have been working for a year and half now, and I want to apply for an MBA for the Aug 2014 intake.

Considering this, what is the best time to appear for the GMAT? I initially intended to book a date in may But I realized that even if I took the exam in July/August, I would still be able to make it to the first round deadlines comfortably.

Is there some added advantage in taking the test in april when the number of test takers are lesser?

Thanks in advance!

Hi auppala,

Thanks for posting. You should take the GMAT exam when you feel most confident. Your score will carry for 5 years, and there is no benefit or disadvantage to taking the test at a certain time.
