I believe that this is correct as written. Choices C, D, and E have incorrectly placed adjectives; choice C says "surgical introduction," when it is the implantation that is surgical, not the introduction. Choices D and E both mention "new artificial and human organs," when the method is actually new, not the organs. Choosing between A and B is trickier, but B says "methods of human and artificial organs," which is incorrect; it's a method of implanting, not a method of organs.

A\B are quite close and seems completely meaning dependent. I will still go with A

Rejected B because of following reason:

(B) the introduction of new surgical implantation methods of human and artificial organs -->"New methods" were of surgically implanting artificial and human organs and not of human and artificial organs; Hence meaning is weird

Whats the OA?

Thanks for your reply.

Your explanation seems correct to me. In beginning, I eliminated C, D, and E. I was stuck over A and B.

B can be eliminated on the basis of "methods of human and artificial organs" as it is an incorrect modifier.

Now, A seems to be better than B. OA: A

What is the role of "surgically" in "surgically implanting artificial and human organs"?
"surgically" is an ADV. Can you please give some grammatical explanation?

You're right that "surgically" is an adverb, and "implanting" is a verb. The role of "surgically" is simply to say that the implantations are performed by means of surgery. The placement of "surgical" in B isn't a problem; it's the placement of "methods" that poses a problem in that choice.

i was able to narrow down to A/B
and eliminated B ....bcoz of ....methods of human....

artificial and human organs => Noun
implanting => adjective (participial phrase)
surgically => Adjective
