Actually I think that ur confusion arose from the fact that more often that not revenues is used and not revenue.

But both are correct usage depending upon the sense of the sentence they appear in
for eg
Tax department is responsible for collecting government revenue from companies and individuals. Is perfectly grammatical.

Moreover in choice A, we have 'it'which is singular so it gotta refer back to a singular subject that is revenue and not revenues.
