E: intensifying expectations OF PERSONAL SPENDING.., THAT IT WOULD..
issues with E
a) presence of COMMA makes it unclear what THAT refers to
b) IT does not have any referent

c) THAT in THAT OF refers to EXPECTATIONS - it distorts the meaning by saying that EXPECTATIONS OF THE 1.4 GROWTH RATE..PREVIOUS QUARTER. But previous quarter is already finished and original sentence does not intend to compare EXPECTATIONS OF CURRENT QUARTER with EXPECTATIONS OF PREVIOUS QUARTER. Original intends to compare EXPECTATIONS OF CURRENT QUARTER with ACTUAL GROWTH RATE of previous quarter
