[Urgent Help] Rescheduling GMAT effects

by age12345 » Sun Jun 23, 2013 9:19 am
Hi All,

I want to know if I reschedule my GMAT to some other date (probably 1 month later) then does this will effect my selection process? Are colleges will get to know about this?

Please let me know, as I am targeting 700+ and just now I scored 580 (Q49, V20) in GMAT prep 2 and my test date is one week away.

Also I am constantly scoring between 550-630 in GMAT prep and Manhattan. So is it advisable to take the GMAT next week targeting for 700. I don't want to reschedule due to above reason and also as I am working so I don't think I will be able to get much time after this week(might be 2-3 hours in weekdays).

Thanks!

If you have not earned a score of higher than 630 I am sorry to say but the chances of you getting a 700 are not as good as you might wish. A 70 point jump would be the result of you identifying a major weakness in your practice tests and addressing it. A 70 point jump would not simply be the result of having a good day or being very alert or something like that.

Did you say you could study 2 - 3 hours per night but that this is not very much? That is actually a good amount. More than that is not generally as productive per hour.
