You can certainly be competitive for admission at a number of programs. The key for successful applications will be to stand out in the applicant pool. As such I recommend looking for ways to weave your non-profit experience into your essays since this is a distinctive part of your profile.

As far as deciding where to apply, I suggest that you apply to 4-6 top 15 programs. You should look for programs that not only fit your goals, but also your personal interests such as class size and location.
