stmt 1: we can get slope of k as we will have two pts on it now 1,1 & 1,-1

but we still canoot determine slope of m as only 1 pt is with us 1,-1

INSUFF

stmt 2: we again get 1 more pt on line k but still we know only pt on the line m INSUFF

combine: still we have 3 pts on k but only 1 on m we cannot dertemine the slope of m INSUFF

hi..wel i thot tht since lines k and m intersect at a particular point, it will provide a common point of both lines k and m and thus we can find the slopes of both..
