I have two reasons to convince that the answer cud be D

1) 'which' refers to the 'serveilance system ' replace which by that system in the sentence and only in D it makes more sense

2) can interfere is the second part .. but ? can interfere is not clear so placing a modifier will fix the issue that is what is done in option D .

A is correct in my opinion.Confusion here is between A&D.
My reason for rejecting D is that
"Researchers have announced that the magnetic fields emitted by one manufacturer’s security surveillance system,200,000 of which type exist worldwide, interfering with pacemakers, and " If we omit this part the sentence is akward.
Now A maintains paralllelism.(announced that ....and that.)
also "Researchers have announced that the magnetic fields emitted by one manufacturer’s security surveillance system, of which type there are 200,000 worldwide, can interfere with pacemakers and that this interaction can bring on missed or irregular heartbeats" IF we omit this part sentence makes sense.
