Well,
i took ielts some days ago and every thing went fine and i was expecting atleast 8 in both listening and reading until i realized that in last 5 questions of reading i wrote TRUE/FALSE instead Yes/No...
In second passage there were true and false questions so they dug a trap in third passage and i was into it....
I think all those answers were right (but nothing can be done...)

so,just remember this forum post when ever you sit for IELTS test .....it is a trap and be careful not to fall into it...
i am quite dejected as i feel may be i am unlucky to be in this situation

any ways thanks

I think a 7.5 is pretty good score, right? I'm not very familiar with the IELTS to be honest, but a friend of mine got a 7.5 and it was all she needed.

Well,i guess it is enough. Most of european institutions consider 6.5 as a standard score.
I have found many american colleges still do not accept ielts score and the range of acceptable score differs according to colleges.
Though i feel i can do better it was good enough for me atleast for a case.

This site has good conversion. Not sure about its accuracy.
