Reliance scholarship only for Indians residing in India?

& the condition is: You should come back to India within two years of your guraduation.
Note that, scholarship is need-based and merit based. (thus, it's unlikely to get it if you're earning good $$ outside India.) For more info about Reliance Stanford GSB scholarship follow the link. :)

1) The scholarship is need AND merit based.

2) "Yes, you must be an Indian citizen (living in India) and must be either studying or working in India to apply for the Reliance Dhirubhai Fellowship. Furthermore, all Reliance Dhirubhai Fellows must return to India within two years of graduation to work for a period of at least two years." --- It appears like you must not just be an Indian citizen, but you must also be physically living in India, which seems odd, but I guess those are the rules.[/quote]

yeah, it's not odd, it is what exactly they are looking for.

New changes in the page (that you linked) is they've added FAQ, which is a good thing for info-seekers.
