hi all

ive heard gmatprep will give a different set of questions if we re-install. anyone can confirm if it is true?

so can i say there will be 4 distinct CAT by GMATPREP (1&2 and 1&2 re-installed versions)

pls advise as i am holding on GMATPREP 2 till nearer to my GMAT appointment and if above is true, i will take PREP2 earlier and take the 2 re-installed version before my gmat

thanks

Not sure about the reinstalling, but you can take GMAT Prep many times , I have taken GMAT PREP 1 3 times , on the 2nd try I had only couple of reapeats, and on the 3rd time like 7-8... so feel free to take both 1 and 2 nd gmat prep tests at least 2 times.

Many members of this board are advocates of re-installing GMATPrep. Doing this essentially clears your history, and more often then not, you will see many new questions in your retake.

Here's the problem: the GMATPrep question bank is limited, so upon re-install there is a high likelihood that you will see a repeated question from your previous tests. This is a big deal because already being familiar with a problem/solution will skew your final score.

Bottom line: re-installing may be good for practice, but I wouldn't read much into the score. Most likely your score will be skewed a little high.

Good luck!

Some new questions are added in re-installing. Which is always the case because actually for each question there are at least 5 question for every question which are thrown on screen by algorthim as you attempt the question right or wrong.
