Regarding a non-typical essay question

by digvijayk » Sun Dec 23, 2012 5:03 am
Hi,

Merry Christmas.

I say the question is non-typical because I have seen it in just a couple of places.

What is the best way to approach essays which ask to evaluate an economic crisis or a hypothetical situation - in which we are supposed to tell how we would handle the situation as a leader or businessperson etc. ?

And what are some of the qualities that I should focus on in such questions(not what the schools want, but what a person can convey).

Finally, what are some of the Don'ts for such questions.

Thanks

Well, I think the best way to approach these sorts of questions is if you can to somehow try and connect it to something you have done. Even if its a bit remote, try and use your personal experience to reflect upon the question/subject. sometimes it's not entirely relevant though.

Other than that, there is no really right or wrong way to approach the question.
