I have taken the Economist-GMAT tutor simulation test and have achieved a score of 690. Can anyone tell me how accurate this score is and how similar it is to the actual test.
Thanks!

Good question, spany, and we actually just posted on our blog about simulation tests today. Check it out: https://gmat.economist.com/blog/let%E2%8 ... tion-exams
As for your question about how the sim test stacks up to the real thing-- the practice exam is designed to mirror the types of questions and difficulty of the actual GMAT exam of course, but I've heard lots of chatter on the boards from recent test takers about what they really thought -- what sections they found harder or easier, etc. The thread https://www.beatthegmat.com/i-just-beat ... t-f15.html is chock full of GMAT exam test takers speaking about their experience, so you may have a lot of luck posing your question to them!
Good luck!
Regards,
Elizabeth
