If too much serotonin is released into the receptors is it harmful.

Option B - CORRECT.
This option can be positively deduced from the discussion. The intake of selective serotonin Re uptake inhibitor is currently the only successful treatment for clinical depression, because it helps to prevent the presynaptic cell from re-uptaking serotonin, thereby allowing normal amounts of serotonin to reach the receptors on the postsynaptic cell.

Option C - INCORRECT.
Individuals who have normal level of serotonin do not run the risk of suffering from depression due to the intake of selective serotonin Re-uptake.

Option D - INCORRECT.
This option is almost valid but lacks concrete support of its clam. Individuals with depression who do not take selective serotonin reuptake run the risk of increasing and not depleting their serotonin level.
