Recommended specialization areas - Finance or?

I'm now filling out the application and was asked to choose three specialization areas. What areas of specialization would you recommend? (My career background is an HR analyst in a non-profit organization.)

I prefer something more practical in finding jobs; in this aspect, please recommend 2-3 concentration areas among the following:

Business Analytics
Corporate Finance
Finance
Financial Instruments and Markets
Financial Systems and Analytics
Quantitative Finance

Hey yumi2012 - this really isn't anything that anyone else can answer for you. They're asking you what you want to study! The whole point of getting an MBA is that it will prepare you for a specific future career. If you don't know what you want to study, then it's very likely you haven't defined your career goals nearly well enough for the adcom to understand why you need an MBA in the first place.

You may want to go back and look at that career goals essay. That list looks like it could be from NYU Stern. The Stern adcom will DEFINITELY need to see concrete goals laid out (most schools want to see clear goals but Stern really wants to see them!). The goals should then tell you what you need to study - this is not a trick question on the app. :-)
