Dear navdeepbajwa,

Business owners usually look to clients, customers, vendors and other colleagues that can give an accurate picture of you in a professional capacity. Perhaps there is a former supervisor from a previous job also? The recommender should know you for at least a year and work closely with you. You can also consider a colleague from a community service or other extracurricular activity where you have been in a leadership role for one recommender.

Good luck,
Lisa
