C. If BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient.

1. Is the perimeter of triangle with sides a, b and c greater than 30?
(1) a - b = 15
(2) The area of the triangle is 50
2. If y is an integer and y = x + |x|, is y = 0?

3. Is x4 + y4 > z4?
(1) x2 + y2 > z2
