I think (E) should be the answer here. What's the OA?

(E) maintains parallelism. The non-underlined portion reads: ..And how close it is to a major business. What comes after and has to be parallel to what comes before and.

hope this helps.

Any real estate professional will tell you that the value of a parcel of a land is most directly affected by the extent of its development and how close it is to a major business,

A) the extent of its development (not parallel to "how close")

B)whether it has been developed extensively (not parallel to "how close")

C) How extensively it has developed (it's not the parcel of land that is doing the developing)

D) the extent to which it has developed (it's not the parcel of land that is doing the developing)

E) How extensively it has been developed (parallel to "how close")

This is a good example of how the portion that's not underlined ("how close...") dictates the change we have to make.
