my background:
-Canadian working for the biggest bank in Canada as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), 5 years of working experiences. Also worked at the brokerage arm of the bank for 2 years within those 5. Host for the bank's high value chinese clients events twice. Top 4 performer out of 20 planners in my region.
-Finance undergrad GPA total 3.39 (but GPA were on the rise and reached 4.3 during the later part of my school life), Dean's Honor roll student twice.
-GMAT: 700
-Business director/social director for the biggest motorsport club in Canada. Responsible for developing sponsorship for the club, as well as expanding the club's motorsport's activities
-speak and write fluent english, cantonese, mandarin
-hobbies: Racing cars and go-karts
-born in Asia and moved to Canada when i was 15.
-Schools planning to apply: first choice--LBS, UCLA, MIT, Kellogg, Yale, NYU, Oxford
-Career goal: Working in Asia in IB
-for recommendation letter I am planning to use my previous manager at the bank, and the president of the motorsport club.
My questions:
1) Chances of getting into those schools?
2) The reason I can't use my current boss is because I have a 5 year commitment to the job when I took it, now has only been 2 years. I didn't want to use another work manager besides my ex-manager because I want to showcase my diversity with the motorsport club as I think it is something different.
