Which is the best source for studying Verbal, especially SC & RC.

Kaplan or Manhattan.

what is the review of Grockit, is it worth subscribing?

- Grockit is good for Elementary Concepts

- Manhattan is much better than Kaplan for SC and CR

How is princeton reviews for Verbal?

Can somebody guide me which one I should follow:
1. Manhattan
2. Kaplan
3. Princeton Reviews

I had already gone through Manhattan for SC and CR. which is the best amongst the 3 for verbal sections and which is best for quant.

Princeton is inappropriate source to refer to. [in my opinion]

You have written a proper order in which the material should be referred. You have only missed Official Guides which are Bible for Preparation. Keep studying Manhattan And OG parallel.
1. Manhattan (OG-10, OG-11, OG-13)
2. Kaplan
3. Princeton Reviews

Hi drrathishnair,

Are you looking specifically for BOOKS that will help you to study or RESOURCES (books, online materials, classes, etc.)?

Each of the companies that you've named (and many others that you did not name) has helped people to improve, so instead of asking which is the "best", you might want to try to figure out which is best for YOU. Most GMAT companies offer some type of free resources (online practice problems, Trial accounts, etc.), so that you can test out a product before you buy it. You might consider trying out a few, then choosing the one that best matches your personality, timeline and budget.

When are you planning to take the GMAT?
What is your goal score?
Have you taken any practice CAT tests (or the Official GMAT)? If so, then what were your scores?

My recommendations, in order of value, would be:

1) ALL official material (GMAC OG, Verbal OG, GMATPreps, all online questions, etc.)

2) MGMAT - for SC and Number Properties, Word Translations, and additional Quant books as needed. Use their 6 CATs you get free with your books in addition to the 4 GMATPrep CATs from mba.com.

3) For CR, you should get Powerscore's CR book if you need additional help.

4) For RC, I actually like Veritas Prep's RC book to supplement the OG15, but RC is really all about strategy and HOW you read the passages, note-take on them, and use your scratch pad to rephrase the question stems, predict the correct answer, and use process of elimination on the answer choices. There's isn't a fabulous RC book that really delves into the kind of strategy you need, in my opinion.

I would avoid Princeton Review and Kaplan. Really hit all the official material first, multiple times.
