Hey all,

I just started my GMAT prep , I am working on RC's . I am performing very badly in my RC .

The strategy I am using is :

(1) Read the passage by taking 2.5 to 3 min for short passage , jot down some notes .
(2) Look at first question, get some key words in specific questions , go back to the passage and read 2 to 3 sentences around the key word , look at answer choices and eliminate accordingly .

But this is taking lot of time .......almost taking 9 min for simple passage with 3 questions :( . Even after taking time I am not getting all right !
Please let me know where I am going wrong ? or if you have any other better strategies ?

Am I taking time as I just started my prep or am I going wrong some where ?

I am referring to MGMAT strategy guide for RC.
