umaa,

the second para is talking about 2 views of non profiting hospitals :
1) new house view
2) weisbrod view

It does not talk about 2 types of hospitals.

New house view says that : non profit hospitals expand their unnecessarily beyond the need of the people.

Option E correctly says that non profit hospitals provide more care than what is acutally required .

My advise : Even i have been in this same situation as you are. I never liked RCs . i got all of them wrong ..I just kept on reading .. Practise practise and practise .. U WILL .. try be curious about what the passage is saying ..

Regards,
Vignesh

Hi, Doesnot inappropriate word in choice E is misleading ?

The para says that non profit hospital exandn the quality and quanitity of service beyond the community need.............

Now don we use inappropriate for a service that is not fullfiling the demand ? means if the service is inadiquate and is not unable to fulfil the demand.......I think we use inappropriate then.........
but here service is exceeding the demand.......i think inappropirate is not the correct word here........

C WOULD be correct if there were no comparison with For-Profit Hospitals, which are not mentioned in the passage.

Inappropriate (I am italian, and it's a latin word) does not mean simply "inadequate" but more precisely "not correct"...though normally it's coincident with "inadequate" in the sense of "inappropriately LOW", in this case "inappropriate" means "too much"

Hope this helps!
