Ray R starts its counter-clockwise revolution around the origin from the point(1,0) in a coordinate graph. After it travels for one full revolution and an additional angle of x, it steps at the above illustrated position in the third quadrant. Let D denote the total distance traveled by the original point of (0,1) on ray R. What statements about D are true?

I. 5*pi/4 < D < 3*pi/2

II. - pi < D < - pi/2


III. 13*pi/4 < D < 7*pi/2

A. I only
B. II only
C. III only
D. I and II only
E. I and III only

The value of D

3*pi/2 < D < 2*pi

Check all the statements

I and III are out

Don't really know how to check II

But probably II is the answer
