Is the number of seconds required to travel d1 feet at r1 feet per second greater than the number of seconds required to travel d2 feet at r2 feet per second?
(1) d1 is 30 greater than d2.
(2) r1 is 30 greater than r2.

OA: d My answer: c

i) Is not sufficient as it says nothing about r1 or r2.
ii) Same reasoning here.

Combined - Assume d2=90 = > d1 = 90 + 30 = 120
Assume r2 = 10=> r1 = 30 + 10 = 40
d1/r1 = 3 d2/r2 = 9 So d2/r2 is greater.

Assume d2 = 1 => d1 = 31
Assume r2 = 1 => r1 = 31
In this case d1/r1 is equal to d2/r2.

So we can never be sure whether d1/r1 is always greater then d2/r2.
So IMO is E.
