IMO A
stmnt 1 is sufficient because, there is a clear relation given in terms of a ratio...
Hence, if the cups of sugar = 1
cups of flour = 2.5
if cups of sugar = 4
cups of flour = 10
The ratio is ALWAYS 5:2
Stmnt 2 is insufficient because
it gives the relation between the 2 variables in terms of addition. the ratio can & WILL vary.
for eg. if the cups of sugar = 1
cups of flour = 2.5
if cups of sugar = 4
cups of flour = 5.5
Note how the ratio changes in both the cases. Hence, insufficient.
