There are 350% more employed than unemployed. If average amount saved by an employed person is double that of an unemployed person then what fraction of the total amount saved from both the employed and unemployed is attributed to the employed?

A) 7
B) 7/4
C) 9/10
D) 7/8
E) 9/11

Say, number of unemployed persons is 10 and average amount saved by an unemployed person is x.

Hence, number of employed persons = (10 + 350% of 10) = (10 + 35) = 45 and average amount saved by an employed person is 2x.

Total amount saved by both = (10x + 45*2x) = 100x

Required fraction = 90x/100x = 9/10

The correct answer is C.
