In 10 minutes the first train has traveled (240/60)*10 = 40 miles
Hence, (300 - 40) = 260 miles need to be covered.

As the trains are moving towards each other they are covering (240 + 160) = 400 miles in one hour
Hence, the time they will take to cover 260 miles = (60/400)*260 = 39 minutes

Therefore, they will meet at (12 noon + 10 minutes + 39 minutes) = 12:49pm

The correct answer is B.
