Question

For Student in Class A, the range of their height is R cm & the greatest height is G cm. For students in class B, the range is S cm & the greatest is H cm. Is the least height of student in class A greater than least height of student in Class B.

1, R<S
2, G<H

Ans: D Both needed.

intially, i thought it should be D. but later on i plugged in with R=2, G=5,
S=3, H=6

and i found that the least height of the student in class A can be the same height as the student in Class B. so the answer should be E.

This a GMATprep question. and it says the answer is D.

Please help :)

Are you sure you copied the question properly? As it is, it looks like the answer would be E... at least to me.

Ans: D Both needed.
And is the OA D: Both sufficient, or C: Both needed?
