IF f(x)=(x+sqrt3)^4, what is the range of the function f(x)?

A. sqrt3<f(x)<4
B. f(x)>=0
C. f(x)<0
D. f(x) dne 0

is this just something that you think through? or is there an algebraic way to figure it out? the book doesn't give an algebraic way...

becoz the exp (x+sqrt3)^4 is raised to the power 4 it can not have a -ve value so f(x) will always be > then 0
now to check whether its = 0 or not
put x=-v3------>f(x)=0 since f(x) can not have a -ve value and for all other value its >0---->f(x)>=0
