Question regarding GMAT study materials

Hi all,

I am preparing for the GMAT and have the Official Guide for GMAT Review 13th Edition.
Can someone please tell me whether I should purchase the 'GMATPrep Exam Pack 1' and 'GMATPrep Question Pack 1' from mba.com for additional practice ?
Is there any overlap between the questions in the above mentioned resources and the questions in Official Review Guide and the free full-length GMATPrep exams ? Please advice.

Thanks!

Hello, batman08! It looks like you have got a really good study plan in place! I wanted to answer your question about overlap in the prep products you mentioned. There is no overlap in questions for the OG 13, GMATPrep Exam Pack 1 and GMAT Prep Question Pack 1.

Good luck in your studies!

Hi batman08,

Have you taken any full-length practice CAT exams yet? Many GMATers start off with prep resources, then add materials based on their progress (and end goal). While your first practice CAT result probably won't make you happy, it will provide some information into your strengths and weaknesses and what additional resources you might need to succeed.

I am a big fan of the Prep Pack 1 which has over 400 questions that are delivered on the computer (and therefore more like the exam than questions from a book). As Rebecca has mentioned there is no overlap with the OG 13th edition so that is a great purchase. The Exam Pack gives you 2 new exams and those can be very useful, but you can take each of the free exams twice so you might wait to see if you need those additional exams before you purchase. They are official exams though so that is a good thing.

Another option if you need another great exam to take is the free Veritas Prep exam. https://www.veritasprep.com/gmat/free-gm ... tice-test/

And if you use up all of those official questions and need some great questions to try the free Veritas Prep question bank if there for you as well! https://www.veritasprep.com/gmat-question-bank/

Good luck!
