Question on Initial Diagnostic Test

How important it is to take the diagnostic test ? Is it more sensible to take the test after atleast some amount of preparation, or just go without any prep at all to be able to see the locus standii ?

I'm assuming you're referring to the diagnostic test beginning on page 20 of the OG13. The test is meant to familiarize you with the types of questions found on the GMAT and give you a very approximate idea of your current skills. Please note that the test is quite difficult, so don't worry too much about the results.

If you're following BTG's 60-Day Study Guide, keep in mind that you will retake this test later on to help gauge your progress.
