Hi all,
Please take a look at this data from BW rankings page for Fuqua as an example:
Application (A) - 3122
Selectivity (S) - 30%
Yield (Y) - 46%
If you do the math (A*S*Y), the intake size comes to about 431. But BW reports full-time enrollment as 878, which is roughly double the result I just mentioned.
Now Fuqua website mentions their class size as 434, which is consistent with the math. https://www.fuqua.duke.edu/programs/duke ... time/#tab5
This same pattern emerges for all 2-year programs, but not for 1-year ones. So I'm guessing the BW data about enrollment is actually the total number of students in the program at any time (first year + second year), and not the intake size.
Could someone please confirm if that's right?
Thanks.
