(1) c > b
(2) a > d



A. Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (2) alone is not sufficient.
B. Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (1) alone is not sufficient.
C. BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient.
D. EACH statement ALONE is sufficient.
E. Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient.

Since a,b,c,d are all positive we can multiply or divided by any of them wihtout worrying about how it would affect the inequality

Simplify the question stem

ac/bd > c/b
(both c's in the numerator and both b's in the denominator will cancel when u divided by c and then multiply by b on both sides)

= a > d

Question becomes Is a > d?

Stmt I

c > b

INSUFF (doesnt tell us anyhting about a or d)

Stmt II

a > d

exactly whate we need to find

SUFFICIENT
